As they say, the dam is half of the equation. My yellow is on the dark side, she was sired by a fairly light yellow. None of the puppies were as light as the sire, especially the black ones. :p:p:p

A "white" yellow Lab seems like a lame thing to prefer, but I'll try and help anyhow. I seem to recall that George Roger's Ali pup, now an all-age up-and-comer, was fairly light. Blue Moon's Sir Francis Drake--so either him or Ali might be possibilities.

The Yellowstone's TNT Explosion line seems to produce pups on the light side, think Arnie E's dogs especially Oatie and Bill M.'s Moochie and her descendants, for example.

Blackwater's Last Resort looks very light from the pictures.

These are all relatively local choices.

My daughter got a white lab in Montana. The dad was white and from a British show line called Shamrock Acres I believe. So a long way from field trial dogs. Mom was black and 3 pups were white and 3 were black. I think that most white labs are from the show lines so you might have a tough time finding one from field lines. Good luck

Steve, our yellow bitch Flake is about as light as I have seen in the field lines. She goes back to Jim & Judy Powers "Jet".

Bred her to Cosmo her first litter and got all shades of yellow mostly light. We shall see what the next set of yellows come out in hopefully a few short weeks :)

Breeding to Cosmo again?

No we went with Dusty this litter. Guessing they will be all over the board color wise.

Pretty much any dog bred in AZ, either they are natural Snow labs, or the sun really fades them ;). But they are the lightest "yellow" dogs I've ever seen. Come to think of it, seems to be a bunch of Oatie-TNT Explosion dogs out there so perhaps that line is the way to go.
