Vicki,

Am I going to have to make a "roadtrip" so we can get this picture thing taken care of?

People you would think she would have had her camera, ready, willing and able(or at least have a professional come in take them) as long as it has been since a Cruise puppy was born!!! Not to meantion the fact that Maddee is the momma!!!

Patiently waiting(NOT), regards,
Tim

Tim,

The one thing I am NOT is technologically proficient!!!!! I have trouble playing a radio--let alone something that is as complicated as a digital camera that does video clips, slide shows, adds audio, etc. I've most likely got something "turned on" that needs to be "turned off".

You are welcome to drive up, view the star attraction AND FIX MY CAMERA!

Yeah, guess you are right. Who needs to know how to handle a camera, when you have to handle 6 NATIONAL CALIBER PUPPIES AND ONE NATIONAL FINALIST MOM!!!!.

Don't tempt me,
Tim

P.S. Typing online ain't fixing the camera!!!

I suggest trying to reset the camera as follows:

Resetting the Camera
If your camera does not respond when you press any buttons,
you can try resetting the camera in the following way:
1 Open the battery door on the bottom of the camera and
remove all four batteries.
2 Leave the batteries out of the camera for at least 10 minutes.
3 Reinsert the batteries and close the battery door.
4 Turn the camera back on.

If that doesn't eliminate the lines, you will probably need to contact HP for support.

Thanks for the "online support" Jeff.

Vicki,

Fingers crossed that it works, because we all know the only thing better than PUPPY PICTURES, IS PUPPY BREATHE!!! :D

And can't hardly wait for 6.5 weeks for that 'lil "Cruse X Maddee" Puppy Breathe! I'll be counting the days!

Congrats on litter -- glad to hear six healthy pups -- very sorry I had to take a pass on one -- may end up regretting that choice (probably will) but I'm just too tied up in other directions at the moment -- but I'm sure you will find great working homes for all six -- and I'm sure you'll have a good one in whichever one you keep for yourself -- great pedigree and sounds like Maddee is great mother too -- best of luck

Mike,

Just read this. Hope you and Maxx do great together. But as you said before about Maxx being a high dog, I would think there will be a great chance that this pedigree will have ALOT OF GO!!! So didn't know if this was your reason for passing on one of these. Wouldn't know of any others.

And I hope all of the pups in this litter become "GOOD ONES". Don't really forsee a problem in finding another buyer, since this looks to be the only litter out of Maddee and the limited amount of straws from Cruise. Really would think there is a list of buyers.

Hope to hear some great reports on Maxx in the near future,
Tim

Oh yes, I'm enjoying the heck out of them. They are all equally sized--even the girls! Growing & sleeping & growing. But can they locomote around that whelping box! I predict they will be up on their legs before they get their eyes open!

Maddee is a great Mom. She is a fire-breathing dragon in the field, but calm & gentle with these pups as can be.

Just a quick response -- first I passed on this litter as I didn't know that Vicki was going ahead with this breeding at this time (I had understood that this breeding was to have been done last February) -- second by the time I was notified I was looking at buying a started female -- then third I decided to keep Maxx and realize that he will be more than enough dog for me at this time -- so I passed on a Cruise X Maddee pup AND the started female -- I know that these pups will have lots of GO and I don't think there will be any problem finding a buyer -- this is a great breeding -- as for Maxx, I'm looking forward to having him home and working him myself -- and I'll certainly file further reports -- but before I hijack this thread I want to say to Vicki that I would have loved to get one of these pups -- just the wrong time for me

Well, looks like Shannon and I will have to make that roadtrip after all.

Still wondering if 1GB will be enough. :? LOL

Can't wait,
Tim

I'm thinking that you may have to after all. I just can't seem to do all my chores at home, train dogs, take care of puppies & hold down my full-time job all at once!!! Darn. I thought I was really getting the hang of multi-tasking!

I will try to get a disposable camera for some baby pix tonight!

Vicki,

Not a problem. But then again, I don't have a life. LOL And I thought you were multi-tasking pretty well. If it were any cooler up there, I would already have been up!!

What is Dave doing? Playing with the pups to much to take pictures. As excited as he is, you wouldn't think that you had to "twist his arm" to buy her huh.

Love giving you a hard time, regards,
Tim

That's ok Tim, I can sure take a little ribbing! The pups are delightful & growing like weeds! The girls are as big as the boys, which isn't surprising considering that Maddee is a big, masculine bitch herself. She's definitely a type A female if ever there was one.

It's been really humid up here, but we've stayed in the low to mid 90's on our hottest days, usually in the mid-to-low 80's. Only the humidity has kept us from training, or at least training really intensely, on a few days. Those really hot days we've been lucky enough to have some deep water that is spring-fed & stays cool to use.

Like you, I think its really humorous that I literally had to force Dave to purchase Maddee, then she earns FC & finishes the National Open, and gets an Amateur Win with Dave all in the spring following her purchase!

I don't think he's had excessive play-time with the pups either. His tax practice has grown to the extent that he doesn't have much "off" time, even between April 15 and the end of the year! But he does play with them as much as he can.

Next week it will be more fun. Their eyes will be opening & then bedlam will actually begin once they can see where they are going!
