they looked damn good on both sides of the ball last night. both flynn and perrillou managed the offence well and the defence shut down every attempt VT made to get something going. i bet saban is shakin in his shoe's

I can't beleive LSU gave up 7 points!

They went 8 quarters without giving up a point and it could have been 10.

I'll hate to see Coach Miles heading off to Michigan next season. Les played for Bo and his wife coached basketball there.

yeah thats gonna suck to see him leave.

Michigan!!! Why would anyone want to leave a neat town like Baton Rouge and tons of talent to freeze their *#! off in Michigan? No matter where, or for whom, you've played.
Heck, I coach a HIGHLY touted running back that just committed to UM and the first thing I said was "... You really leaving this nice warm weather and goodlooking southern women?

BTW, I was hoping he'd sign with LSU, Texas, or Florida.NOT MICHIGAN!!!

I'm seein' a LSU-OU national championship game. I'm not sure anybody else is close. Haven't seen USC play yet but will next weekend. And yea, Les Miles will be in Ann Arbor next year.

Come on now don't lose your head because OU stomped a very poor Miami. Miami aint what it once was, not even colse. You might be half right, LSU has as good a chance as anyone.

We don't want to see OU again for the Nat'L Championship, we want to see a team that can bring thier A Game to BCS Bowl like USC! Had we played USC two years ago instead of OU, we wouldn't have had to split the Nat'l title with the Trojans!!!

Alabama and Saben will be there in a couple of years, but right now, hats off to LSU. Its like admiring a competitor nail the last series of an open...all you can say is wow.

Regarding Miles future, do LSU fans think he is that good of a coach, or is he winning with good assistants and the most talent on a team that I have ever seen? Anyway, if he goes, you can do as good or better with the next one.

Coach Miles is that good! First, we lost some key asistants since Saban's departure, guys like Jimbo Fisher. Only to have them replaced by Les with assisatnts just as capable.

LSU fans were upset when Saban left for the Dolphins but, I don't think there are many that would take Saban over Miles now that Miles has shown us what he can do. For one thing, he has more credibilty and is a great coach in his own right. That is why Michigan will do everything they can to get him.

The 2007 Team is a better team than the 2005 team that had to split the Nat'l Championship with USC!

The LSU AD has a great record of hiring the right coach except in men's baseball. If and when Les Miles departs for Michigan, I think Skip B will hire the best replacement.

I always like statements like that. I have seen two that are always a favorite. 1) Jon Gruden won a Super Bowl with Tony Dungy’s team and Urban Myer won a National championship with Ron Zooks players. The answer to number one is then why didn’t Dungy win with the same team for three years that he had them and number two would be again why then did Zook not win the national championship? The funny thing about number two is everybody in Gator Nation hated Zook, but there are a few nay sayers out there that just can’t give credit where credit is due. Coach Miles is that good.

It was the 2003 team, and only time will tell.

Two weeks into the season and I already want to see LSU and OU play...mind you I am an Irish fan so our season is over...Both teams look tough this year.

i want to see USC come down to new orleans.
