It is with great sadness and tear filled eye's that I announce Emmy has gone over to the rainbow bridge. She was the sweetest, calmest, funniest dog I have ever had the privellage to be owned by.She came to us about 7 months ago. Her owner was in a bind and wanted to place her somewhere that she would get a chance at a good life. I think we took care of that and more. She was out of a Max x Lottie's Sherman Tank breeding. She had a rough career was bought as a brood and then was breed to Cosmo and almost died. So she was sold as a hunting dog and spayed. When she came to us it was evident that she had potential. She had been hammered on blinds and needed lots and lots of attrition. After a few months she was running with the big dog's and showing them up most day's. She also had been stealing mine and my wife's heart everyday. Matter of fact Juli asked "what do you think about Emmy staying at the house with us?" I was schocked and brought her home from the kennels that night and she had been sleeping with us ever since. Her and our yorkie would play for hours everyday and were best buddies. She was alway's a treat to come to after a long day. I was blessed to have spent Saturday afternoon with her in the dove field. It was hilarious because she broke on the very first shot and all my buddies were laughing becasue noramlly my dog's are so good. I just told them that if Emmy wanted it she could have it but if it had been any other dog we would have had a talk. My wife was supposed to have worked that night but got called off,so Juli,Emmy and myself watched Bama get beat in OT. I think Emmy took it hard because she went straight to bed she didn't even play with her stuffed duck like normal. I really hate that our son Connor who is due Oct 21 will not get the privellage of growing up having such a wonderful friend. Anyway give your's a scratch behind the ear in honor of the best dog to ever cross our path.We Love you and miss you Emmy Lou. Juli and Brandon

What a touching remembrance. I'm sure glad that Emmy got to spend her last time on this earth with you and Juli.

Hugs to you and Juli,

Vicky

I am very sad to hear of your loss. Both of you were blessed to have each other though.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Its an honor to be blessed with these dogs of ours, and even though your time was short with Emmy, it sounds like it was filled with many wonderful memories.

With tears in my eyes I think of your Emmy and my past pals romping in those fields and marshes across the rainbow bridge.
