DJIA number is .23 for this weekend's trials. Dog #23 in both the AM and the OPEN is the same dog in one of the trials.........:shock:

Nope. I'm judging in Texas this weekend...but thanks for the good wishes!

it happened with me with different numbers but same dog.

Sounds like the random generator could use some refinement.

I gotta ask, probably because I don't understand, how would this happen with different numbers using the Dow?

if the dow # is greater than the # of dogs entered, you subtract the # of dogs from the dow # and get your starting number. if you have more open than amateur or vice versa, you would get different starting # in each stake. same dog can have both those numbers and be first running dog in both stakes. i have seen this happen a few times.
