Now one name that I did not "Love" or "Enjoy". I cannot actually remember. Pree entry Express I did the task of event secretary two or three times. For the AKC hunt test we used to host in Addison Vermont. there was a dog running the Northeast circuit at the time that had a Hawaiian or Polynesian type name. The name had 3-6 hyphens in it. And it was a pain in the tuckus to hand record the paperwork as we did back in the day to give back to the AKC. Though, it was always funny watching the event chairperson trying to read the registered name for the ribbon ceremony. And the dog almost always qualified summer after summer. this was a long time ago and the dog must be passed on by now but do any other event secretaries remember that dog?

A Great Uncle of mine was an attorney. He liked to hunt waterfowl and had a few labs. I don't know what the registered names were but the two I heard about the most were called Probate and Loophole.

When we first started running field trials, I would comb through the FTN looking for familiar dogs. I don't know anything about this dog or its owner, but I would always chuckle when I saw a placement for Oprah's Win For Me.

The way it was told to me they were trying to find the trial grounds pre dawn and stopped at a doughnut shop called Debbie does doughnuts for directions.
The passenger went in and returned with directions, a bag of doughnuts and a funny look on his face. When asked about it he said that was the first topless doughnut shop he had ever seen.
I love the name even more now! Somebody needs to name a Debbie descendant Debbie Does Doughnuts or Debbie Does Dunkers.

Always seemed to like

Lanes let's get ready to rumble "Ali"
And
Glenhoma's El Chupacabra "Chupa"

I also like the Chena River Surprise and Chena River No Surprise siblings in that supposedly the first breeding was an accident? Then the repeat brought about Chica?

Thought that was an interesting story but someone here could probably verify that.

I do not like the name "Google" for some reason. Yes, it's different, which i like, an amazing dog but I just can't get on board with the name.

Mac's Magical Mr. October- Reggie

Oh wait, that's my own dog. I like it. Hahaha

I've always had a soft spot for FC AFC Sangamo Red.

Didn't read any of this thread and don't know if she was mentioned or not but my vote for the best dog of all time (plus the name fits too) is 3x NFC Candlewoods Tanks A lot!!!!!!!!!! To me hands down the best dog in history.

I respect your choice Steve. On the other hand it's pretty hard to beat this: https://huntinglabpedigree.com/pedigree.asp?id=259
Awesome story and obviously extremely special and talented dog.

with a pedigree lacking in titles as his is --- it is hard to imagine ANY puppy of current breeding being given the opportunity to compete in today's FT's.... Perhaps an indication that titles, in fact, are not heritable. LOL
