So, by popular demand and with lots of anxiety from my partner in crime... LOL

I'm pleased to announce that the Retreat will go co-ed in May in Arkansas.

We will STILL have LADIES ONLY retreats. But we're stepping our feet into the water of co-ed primarily because of husbands and wives who want to attend together and because I've had requests from men who would like to attend -- maybe just because of the ladies???:shock::p:p

Anyway, I'm finalizing the dates today for both the Arkansas and South Carolina locations. The Arkansas location is new, replacing Mississippi, for now, thanks to gators, snakes and mud. I learned why they call it "Mississippi mud pie" that's for sure.

I'm trying to pick myself up by my bootstraps and get going on this stuff. Thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement!

So will you still be wanting me to come and pop out of the cake then?

Always ready regards

I've heard it's a very nice place.
Yeah, I'm thrilled to death about it. Some of my friends were able to stop by and take the grand tour on their way back from hunting only about 15-20 mins down they road. They said it was great.

They said there's more water there than you know what to do with, all groomed for duck hunting, but incredible for retriever training. Pit blinds, etc. They said the lodge is incredible, too.

The only "negative" out of my 30-40 point punch list is that we will have to stay on roads with vehicles. But I think we can manage, as they apparently have high quality roads running throughout the place.

And they are excited to have us. That's always a plus...

I'm going to try to take a road trip up there when I can break free from here.

I'm really excited to see it.

Wow, I am excited...within driving distance from Oklahoma City. Maybe I can finally get to go...early, mid, late May? I have to schedule leave and make kennel arrangements well in advance for planning purposes.

I had a little burp in the planning today, but should know later if all goes well.

I'm looking at GOD WILLING:

mar 6-9 arkansas
apr 4-5 south carolina
may 10-11 arkansas co-ed

And I may try a co-ed in south carolina if the response to the first is good, maybe early June...

I had to swap around south carolina and arkansas. With joie's passing, I was really really late getting on these dates (the plan was to take care of all that the first week in Nov after the last retreat). So south carolina location has some other stuff scheduled and I had to move dates around.

I'll bring the beer. Trust me, you'll need to drink yourself blind....

Crap. It looks like the ******** have discovered us.

I'm gonna have to advise you to wave off on the whole cake thing. Ya SURE don't wanna be tied up when /paul is on the premisis (don't look right, but it IS happy hour).

Too bad too cause I just got a new Tiger stripe thong.

Party won't be the same without me regards
