Our day didn't start out so well. On our way to the trial, my truck broke down. Luckily I was only half way down the block. :???: I threw Pilot back in the house, grabbed my line lead, white jacket, whistles & dawg and jumped in "the little car" to get the trial.

Our day proceeded to get a little better. :D

Derby:

1) Topbrass Jump Start Firemark -- Foster
2) Nightwings Marsh Leader -- Cote
3) Firemark's Holy Terra -- DeNardo
4) Citori's The Imancipator -- Moore

JAM) Pah Rah's Black Kate -- Jones

Congratulations to Steve Cote and his young Derby dog "Guide" for 2nd place in the Derby at Sagehens trial today.

Guide turns 12 mo. old sometime this month. He has a lot of raw talent which Steve is bringing along very well.

Guide's sire: Carbon.

Guide's dam: a Patton daughter bred by Chris Hatch ... she is a litter sister to AFC Tealcreek Patton's Saber.

Carbon + Patton... a winning combination.

Congratulations Melanie and Pat. Firemark is on a roll with KC's win last week.

Congratulations also Mike and Lynn on the 4th. Steve a big conratulations on the second.
