A station here has gas for $2.96/gal!!!
That is right I said TWO DOLLARS and nienty six cents. I was pretty sure we would not see gas below $3 again....I guess that is good and bad...good for the wallet, but it is only becasue of the current situation....

yeah...well...no party here...4.33 gal:evil::barf:

Juli

Great!! I heard on the news this morning that there are only 2 states higher than our current gas prices in NC. Alaska and Hawaii! We still have stations out of the higher grades.

One station in Charleston is at $2.84!!!! But this probably won't help much as we will not have jobs to drive to or be able to afford to go anywhere with our dogs. Getting ready to plow up my yard to raise food and shoot the deer in the neighborhood.:-x

$4.37 for regular

$3.65 here in GA....Juli, that price is *horrible*!! Which state are you in? (Besides a state of shock! LOL)

Carol, where is that station?

I don't know the location, but on the radio they called it "Dodge's Store". I think it might have been on the Savannah Highway, but not sure. They were talking about it on the traffic report and explaining why there was such a back up in the vicinity.

Brunswick was $3.19 two days ago

Ya'll better stock up on ammo. With the money situation as tight as it is, there will be a lot of going shopping with a shotgun or rifle at the local Woods Lion. If gas keeps on going down, subsistance jacklighting may be the new local industry.
