It's gonna make it tou 25 degrees here today, so we decided not to put the dogs in the kennel while we're gone today. The wind (if it's blowing is coming strait off the mountains, knocking temps down 10 degs at least so we put the dogs in the house in crates today. As neither dog is used to being crated all day, I ran home at lunch. Well, since school was 2 hours late today we have a ton of subs in the building, including a hall monitor who was on parking lot patrol. She asked me where I was going and I told her home and got in my car and left. 20 minutes later I came back after airing the dogs and she was still there waiting for me. She "escorted" me to the office to make sure I wasn't telling her a story about being a teacher.
I've been accused of being in my mid 20's before, but never half my age. It was quite a compliment. I imagine she froze her little tail off waiting in the parking lot for me in the 20 degrees we're pulling right now. Serves her right.
