yep,......I feel like barfing too, felt like this since I filled out the premium. I loose weight at the Grand,......don't feel like eating, and what I do eat, I can't keep it in. Great way to fit into an old pair of jeans that you've been wanting to wear for a few years.

Jim, thank you for the good luck!

Margo, do you want to meet there early and train together? Looks like Puma will be in heat, so it will be just Blue and I.
Don't feel like eating??!?? You have no problems eating when training-especially those maple shortbread cookies! :)

Best of luck to you and Blue, Dick! Waiting to hear good news!

good luck to Margo, Dick and Don (White)! may all your birds be belly up drakes!

i think you have an excellent mind set, Margo; 1 bird at a time and be one with the dog. identify the mistakes you absolutely need to avoid before you step into the first holding blind and have a plan.

all 3 of you have really nice dogs to work with, so don't sweat the small stuff...-Paul

Good luck, Ms Margo, and have fun! After the problems you've run into on your last few attempts to get there, I look forward to seeing a "WE'RE HERE!" post next week! Anything after that will be gravy.

Susan
Thank you that made me smile! It is so true too.

Ohhh Miriam,......I wish I were that relaxed, maple shortbread cookie eat'n person that I am during training, while I'm at the line,....alas I'm not, ask Margo, she's had to judge me before. Margo and Glenn Stelly could tell you about some of my "special" gun handling skills,....ahh, a story for another day.

Any way, Miriam, Paul and everybody, thank you for the well wishes, and good luck to all handlers!

Margo, I'll give you a call.

3 year ago I started this thread, well my second Grand journey is starting a week from today. Many things have changed since then but one thing remains the same...... I am so nervous I am about to barf :D

I will be in Flight D with some great people Janet Kimbrough, Dick Jennings, Travis Bruce and many more friends. Due to the weather here in Montana I will leave a little eariler then planned to try and get in some last minute water work.

I wish everyone that is running the best of luck.
and do you remember this?

"Margo,

Your Golden friends in Wells, Maine will be cheering you on, just as you have always cheered us on.

Um Diane thanks for the well wished but Troy lives in Vermont and I don't think he is going to be there but I know for a fact that he and is girlfriend will be routing us on from there. :D

Oh Bill we may have a slight problem, it is a little early for the elk sausage but I am still looking for it, if not I will find something to bring down for your win in the guess how many contest we had. :)
