Woke up this morning to a terrible draft. Turns out the icicles hanging off the sides of our house have gotten so long they are pushing our roof up. ;-)

Minus 3 here in Kansas this morning.

How did you get icicles? They would imply melting which is NOT happening here! The only thing that would make this cold worse would be wind which thankfully we are not having much. My kitchen looks like a kennel with all of the crates lined up in it due to the temps dropping into the negative for lows and single digits for highs. And to think that they are calling for an "artic blast" for later this week.
I thought that I moved far enough south to have left this crap behind!

38 for the low here today and that is COLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDD for us. Dang freeze warning tonight and tomorrow and we only get that every 4-5 years.
Just as bad it looks like our high will only reach the mid 60's until the middle of next week. We are usually in the low 70's.
Damn global warming regards

We are supposed to have highs no more than 44* for the next week! And lows as low as 17*. I have not seen it this cold ever before in the 20 years we have been in Beaufort county. I wonder if the palm trees will die?

You need to post pictures of those icicles!!!

Cold here today and tonight as well. High today in the 40's and lows in the teens or high 20's. Winter is here this week. Hopefully next week will back to normal - 60's.

You Southern boys complanin bout high temps in the 60's or 40's should be thankfull!! Heck 40 is about perfect for training!! you can run a dog on long multiple marks without fear of overheating. Sounds like you got it made!

Cold is relative to what you are use too.
This is not doing our plants any good. Orange growers are hoping it will not be a hard freeze, and the vegie guys are just bending over and taking it.

Praying for the same thing. Hoping next week is much better. On Thursday we're to have a high of 28 degrees, low of 14 degrees and Friday isn't looking good either.......
