Just got back and have not downloaded the pics yet. I will get to them. We killed a total of 12 Specks in two days with a group of six hunters and zero on the Snows. One was really barred up, so I decided to have it mounted. No pictures of birds, just decoy and blind layouts, it was a rushed weekend due to having to get back home.

Tough hunt this year for the spring birds, not really keying on fields without water as of yet,I know all the guides and most are having a tough go of it,I only know of 2 guys that run chessies, ones a guide and one is a UPS driver.

I hunted Canada geese in Idaho in Dec just outside of Payette and right across the hwy from the Oregon border and the birds just sat on the Oregon side of the river because the season was not open yet...not just hundreds but thousands of them, honking away , probably laughing at us freezing our butts off in the fog and snow less than 500 yds away

Yes, I was hunting with a guy who hunts with his female Chessie. Not sure if we were around the wood River.
First name start with a "K" doesn't it?

I heard almost the same story from a friend who was hunting with his buddy who normally is fishing in Alaska....love that area. My best friend and his wife are both teachers in Weiser. I go visit a few times a year.
