Its a beautiful day and I can't wait to get out and work with my new dog (waiting for the hubby to get home). We bought a started YLF and she has been here for about 2 weeks now. Now its time to reallly see what she can do. Hopefully the YLF and our BLF will both be going to our first HT of the season next month!

Yup, I enjoyed a very sunny day in W. WA today training w/ the Rainier group w/ my 2 youngest. My very youngest had never retrieved birds on water so we needed that....though she screamed the whole way on both marks... couldn't get there fast enough. LOL.

I bet a few of the folks are sporting a sun burn tonight! Good thing Paul "Happy" Gilmore was wearing a hat.... lol. :p (thanks again Paul--- Hope you got your fill of oatmeal cookies!) Anne

Same thing here in the south. Today is probably the 3rd pretty day in about as many months. I mean even just the third day we've even seen the sun!!! I feel like I was turning into a vampire.

It about put me to sleep at the hunt test today. The sun and breeze just felt SO good, actually a little too warm in a handler's jacket!!

THANK YOU GOD FOR THE BEAUTIFUL WEATHER!!! I really needed it. The dogs enjoyed it too.

So much for nice weather in Northeast Texas. 38 degrees and been snowing since 2 a.m. with 30mph wind. Whats up with that? Was 68 degrees yesterday morning.
