I need some advice. I have trained two labs and never had this problem. my new puppy was coming along fine. He is 20 weeks old and for the last 3 weeks when he goes to get a bumper he walks over picks it up and walks back sometimes he drops it or won't pick it up and bring it back. He acts bored, he knows what he is doing and it doesn't matter if it is the first throw or fourth. I don't work hom too much or very long. I am lost what do I do.

I will try birds any other suggestions if this doesn't work

20 weeks is what 5 months ish? pop open the hood and look at the teeth.
some are early teethers and it may hurt to pick up that bumper.

tried birds today totally different dog thanks. also i read somewhere that trainers use birds 80 percent of their training time
