Are there any camp grounds near Louisburg, NC? Falls Lake is about 35 miles away but I was hoping for something closer. Thanks.

You cold stay with me if they still ran it near Mebane. The Mebane grounds are 20min from the house. Louisburg is about an hr and some change.

Check out Rock ridge campgrounds. About 19 miles from Louisburg. Hope that helps. You should call Stacy West, he may know of something closer. He trains on those grounds and owns Foul Creek kennel.

Hi Stephen,
If you are travelling in a self-contained RV, there is an area right at the test HQ where you could stay. There will be no amenities such as a bathhouse, electricity, water/sewer hook-ups, etc, so you will need to be fuly self-contained. However, the test grounds will be right out your front door...and the cost is free!
Buggs Island is not too far away with some campgrounds around Henderson. I would guess approximately a 40 minute drive to the test grounds.
