Currently working on simple casting and waiting for my Father to pick up an ecollar as his "contribution" to a hunting dog he will benefit from as much as me.
Tule and I went Dove hunting Saturday, and she did great. Marked 7 birds almost perfectly, was steady, and helped find two birds I sailed. This was the first hunt I could really see our training coming together. This was all on check cord and very easy marks. I am looking forward to ditching the cord and the day I can send her to those sailed birds as blind retrieves.
We are very happy Tule is a part of our family. High energy but controllable with OB. She is a great learner, great drive, and very birdy. I hope you enjoy some photos from the last few weeks
