I do not know any details, but I heard Mike Perry had a fire in his kennels and needs our prayers. I will try to update as I know more information.

Mike's kennels caught fire and he lost every dog he had including Rebel 12 in all He did save 1 pup
I just talked to a buddy he was at Mikes lastnight
Mikes mental state is not good he cant hardly talk
Physically he has 2nd degree burns on his head, burns on his lungs and scrapes and bruises.

Man this is so very sad

How utterly tragic. Prayers sent to Mike and all of those families involved who lost their dogs.

What can words say ... this is such sad sad news. God Bless Mike, his family, and his dogs. Praying for his recovery and for all those personally effected to be able to find a bit of peace.

Is there anything at all we can do or say other than offer a hand and heart? Mike, you and all the families involved are deeply in my thoughts today. Sometimes the fire strengthens the steel. Be strong.

Prayers sent........and sent again!

Wally

So tragic! Prayers sent along with heartfelt sympathy.

Wow, lost for words, I don't want to imagine the grief he is going through, I'm sure the physical pain from his burns do not compare to the emotional pain in his heart....prayers from Colorado and my deepest sympathy for the lost of so many beloved dogs.

I spoke with Mike this morning and he is very upset, obviously. Had he been able to get into the barn, which was fully engulfed by the time he was aware, we might be mourning him as well. He did not have any client dogs, as Mike is committed to maintaining his amateur status so he can begin judging some derbies. He was able to save one 6 month old puppy. I was impressed by two things when I spoke with him, one was his faith that God protected him from hurting himself any more then he did, and how blessed he was to have had the opportunity to have the relationship with these dogs that he did. Tearfully, he shared with me that these were truly his best friends that he lost in this tragedy. Very sad.

Oh man, what can someone say. Mike, we feel your pain. God bless and take care of yourself.

I cant even fathom what Mike is going through at this time, I am sorry for the loss of the dogs but equally concerned about Mike's well being and health..Prayers up for a speedy recovery from the desert southwest

That is awful! Prayers for Mike and his family.

Having grown up with show horses , fire is my biggest fear

My heart truly breaks for Mike. I just can't imagine what he is going through.
