Still snowing over there in the desert?

Just got off the phone with a buddy over in Moses Lake. He said that his wife had been standing at the window watching it snow all morning. He said the snow was getting deep enough that he was considering letting her in.

Weather report regards

No snow here today at all. Clear clear clear...bit windy. About 27 degs without the windchill.

We got about 2 inches Tuesday night/Early Wednesday morning. Then a bit of rain on top of that.

Moses has twice as much snow as we have gotten. I think this fall/winter we have gotten maybe 6 inches total.

I did drive to the wetside yesterday though. N Bend was getting HAMMERED with snow....all the way from the westside of Cascades to Preston. White Out conditions......

Drove to the airport then north to Marysville. North side of Seattle got hammered to.......20 mph on the freeway....LOL They can't drive in the rain OR the snow over there.

:) I'm curious to know if the ducks are over there too!! Not too many here.
Haven't been to Moses in a week or so....can't tell you. But the big lakes are mostly open now...however, we are now supposed to get down to single digits for a few days so may close up the water that opened up after the "big freeze" before Thanksgiving.

I've seen plenty of geese on the open fields though.

We live 75 miles North of Spokane. Had 7+" of snow yesterday. Probably close to 40" for the season.
Today is C O L D but beautiful.
Clear, crisp, sunny skies and an ocassional whisp of breeze causes some of the
snow to avalanche from the trees.
Supposed to be minus 6 tonight and zero or below for the next three or four nights. We'll be heading to our pond for the weekend to see if we can shoot a bird or two.
