Just got back from our farm with my three sons, aged 12 / 14 / 20, and two labs where we shot the hell out of some wood ducks. What a great day with three of my favorite people in the world, and our dogs.

September till February........

The rest of the year is dress rehearsal.......

You'll sleep plenty when you're dead.......

A week of vacation next week to do nothing but finish out the regular waterfowl season in style. Been watching two fields full of honkers and a riverbend full of mallards.

Before I deployed we trained a minimum of 5 mornings a week and when hunting season opened I hunted 3-4 weekday mornings and every weekend for waterfowl. Will be mixing in several Upland hunt trips as well this next season once I get home.

We upland every chance we get: weekends, some weekdays and long weekends, vacations. My husband and I each have two labs so everyone gets on the ground. We train during season too and off season is reserved for tests.

I go to college right now so when Im not in class Im hunting 4-6 days a week during season

During Waterfowl Season I hunt 2 to 4 days per week. Not a lot of training going on - will start training again end of March or April when spring snow goose is over.

Hunt ducks/geese when I can and that can be often. Not many pheasants around but I just walk out my door and I'm hunting.
