This is terrible news. Deepest Sympathy to Tom and her entire family, and her friends in the Sunflower Retriever Club. I will miss seeing Marcia at the hunt tests.

Very Sad News----

God Bless you Marcia.

Her family is in our thoughts and prayers......

Oh my....the KS retriever community has lost a very wonderful person. Prayers to the family and loved ones.

My condolences to Tom and her family. The retriever community has lost a great person

Mike Loggins just called to tell me this tragic news. She was a wonderful person and great friend to our Cimarron RC. I know I speak for all of us in our club in saying that Tom is in our thoughts and prayers as is the whole Traylor family. She will be missed dearly. She walks with God now and that is our abiding comfort for us and for Tom.

Marcia will be greatly missed all through the area here. If any one hears about funeral arrangements, please post them so we can send flowers. I remember getting my first Jr title under her 10 years ago here in Tulsa. Tom, we are lifting you up in prayer.

We in Sunflower are all at such a loss with Marcia's tragic passing. We will miss her so very much. Please keep Tom and the family in your prayers.

I spoke with Lanman Funeral Home in Kiowa (620-825-4936) and the service will be Tuesday, the 22nd, at 10:00 AM at the Kiowa United Methodist Church, 205 N. Ninth, Kiowa, KS. The florist recommended to me is Cole's Flowers in Alva, OK, toll-free 877-596-3317. Thanks to all our retriever friends for their prayers and support.

Blessings,
Gretchen

If I am not mistaken, Marcia and Tom were the junior judges at a hunt test we visited/worked at last summer in OK. Even if I am wrong, what a terribly sad loss. If I am correct, she was one of the nicest folks I met on all our travels. Peace to you Tom and family.

Carol,

It wasn't Marcia and Tom... it was Rich and Kathie you helped in that Junior.
I'm trying to think where you might have met Marcia.... They did mostly Master's
last year. At any rate thank you for your concern.

Marcia was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed.

Marcia and Tom put on a wonderful tailgate dinner at their home for the Sunflower Field Trial in the fall. They - and the other members of the club - worked hard, and were always cheerful in putting on their Field Trial.

Tragedies like this remind us of how fragile and fleeting our lives are.

My condolences to Tom.

Bur Oak must have missed this

EdA, I did miss this post, probably in too much of a shock. Pulled mine.
Marcia and Tom, gave so much back to dog games. Many of Sunflower's first tests and trials were run on their grounds.
When you ran a test under Marcia, you knew the dogs always came first.
She was such a good person, I am going to miss the heck out of her.
