So I was airing my dog who was straining a little bit at stool. Apparently she had eaten (for reasons known only to her) some part of a bag that dry-cleaning comes in.

What came out... well, imagine what a sausage made with the casing on the inside would look like.

Poor thing. Sort of followed her around for a while too. She had to get rid of it on her own. I wasn't going to help her with it.

Id keep an eye on her, but plastic bags usually and the poop is already bagged.

pups eat all kinds of stuff and it usually comes out the other end. but I'd keep an eye on her just to be on the safe side.

I try my best to keep things away from my pup, but he still manages to find some odd stuff to ingest. He's got this weird craving for fabric, every once in a while when i'm cleaning up the yard i'll find some colorful deposits...

Thanks for the quick responses everyone. Vet called back and believe it or not they were more concerned with the contents of the plastic bag than the bag itself. It was fried chicken tenders. They told me to give her an adult dose of pepto and a big spoon full of canned pumpkin. They said that they worry about pancreatius (sp?) w/ fried foods. Maybe they are being overly cautious because we all know labs eat anything and end up just fine. I'll do as they say and await the plastic bag:)

Now if you can get her crap sealed in the plastic bag upon exit, we got a story ;)
