Buddy was going to look at a job in Newark NJ and found a wonderful duck boat all grassed up and ready for the season. I love it.

Maybe we north jersey boyz get a bad rap but someonoe has too. Yep we certainly have deep roots to waterfowl, from the market gunners out of LBI down in MD. Odd thing is my beach house in LBI has all the trim work done by some sneakbox builder hmm he liked the whiskey LOL. I used to gun out of a Jode Hillman Broadbill Honduras mohogany she was a good sneaker.
Why are you running without a dodger up?
I used to enjoy the cedar glass sneakers but there just to much work on the off season for me and that interfears with my pigeon and varmint shooting. More of a David Clark and Roy high boats now.
Sopranos let's say I know a little bit more about the carting business than Tony ever did.

I keep hoping NJ will sink into the ocean so I have a 20 minute trip instead of 90!!
In all seriousness there is some nice land in NJ from central jersey south.. I really dont like North Jersey at all. A friend of mine has a nice farm near flemington..

i dont waterfowl hunt.. you guys can have that crap.. ducks and geese taste like poop.. ill stick to deer and turkey. If i wont eat it I wont kill it. i like jersey for the striper fishing. But yes.. I know what you mean about watching those ass clowns back a boat down a ramp.. I was down in LBI last weekend and I watched a guy take like 10 back ups to get his damn jet ski down the ramp.. I just sat back fishing for flatties and doing some crabbing laughing.Dude, please

I believe Jode is the only carver to have a stamp. Uneal work he does out of that little shop.
I really dont like North Jersey at all. Why not 55mins to NYC, 50mins to the PA gap, I sit on gentleman's farm. I walk out the door run my dogs for 300 yards on one side, go to the other 2 acre pond. I rarely go to my place at LBI due to all the out of staters during the summer, but once the winter hits it's bounce between there and MD. Of course we have that wonderful goose season right around the corner, 15 per day no plug.

Marky what county are you in? 55 min to the city, 50 to the Gap? I am guessing Hunterdon.....which is the GARDEN part of the state , (that I grew up in)unless you are from WAY north...

Morris County, I know where my roll is buttered, but I think when it comes time to retire I am headed down to South America. People dream of leaving NJ I dream of shooting birds by the thousands, ducks by the hundreds. geese by the hay wagons. Live like a king for peanuts a day.

If you have never been down to south america to gun believe me they don't waste a feather down there. You can shoot a truck load of ducks and you'll never see on for a meal. All the bird boys somehow loose them from the blind back to the ranch.
You're right it isn't about killing it's about going down there and shooting there vermin all while you pay them to remove their problem. South America looses 50% of there crops due to birds.

Poor bugger-I left that part of the country in 1957 to go to college and haven't looked back.Have lived in MN- Wi- NY and AK-anyone of those better.Esp Newark!
