I'm sad to say my son and hunting buddy is going of to college. He is only a couple of hours away but we are both bumbed that hunting season this year won't be the same.
He is going to Saginaw Valley State in Michigan if anyone has any pointers for that area
it would be appreciated

Thanks, Matt

My son still comes home from college to hunt with me.
Although we can't hunt as often as we used to we still get out at least 6 times a season.
It makes it all the more special when we get to share a blind. :)

btw, your son is very close to some good hunting..;)

I know how the college thing disrupts your fall activities. I have a daughter playing hockey for UW @ Stevens Point. Game weekends start in October. I just can't skip a hockey weekend. :p But she can only play hockey for so long.

Good Luck this fall.

Matt its just plain hard when they leave. That was your job to get him ready to leave. He will not be gone from your life just your home. Both mine have left and it really got to me. One has moved back from Chicago with his wife. They live with us while they shop for a house. Feels like home again !!!!! My other son just bought a house and now all my tools are missing.
Tell him good luck and behave.

P.S. Give me a call, I have someone looking for a pup.
