I'm looking for a neoprene vest for my puppy. She's about 51#. Neck is 14" Chest is 23" Waist is 19"

Smallest that Cabela's has is a Medium which measures way too big. Their Vests are all on sale right now BTW Very cheap, like $15-$20

I have seen mention of Avery making a small and Extra Small that may work for me but I cannot find anyone with one in stock. Anyone have any sources I should look at look at.

I'm not so much hung on the style of vest, especially if my options are already limited by her size.

She won't be getting much bigger based on sire and dam weights, so I don't mind paying for something that will fit her now, it may or may not fit late this season or next, but that's life.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, Mike

You could argue about the wisdom about buying a vest for a dog that will surely outgrow it.

With that being said, there is a company in Washington that makes custom vests. They have basic forms made, and you need to send them the dimensions of the dog.

Send me a PM if you are still interested.

Mike, my lab is 38/39 lbs. I have a vest from my old dog that was 58 lbs. I bought some 3 inch velcro strips, used some epoxy to attach them to make the surface area bigger. can tighten it down to the size I need.

Good Luck, little dog, big heart.

Placed the order yesterday afternoon. Thanks Bill and David and all the rest who responded.

I received an email from David Carrington and he is an honorable man. If Avery can't help with a dog vest, he will try to help you find someone that can.

Instead of trying to sell something you don't need, he would rather help you find what you are looking for.
