Our little Bitsy is gone
On Saturday morning our little Bitsy was found dead on her pillow in front of the TV, her favorite spot to sleep. At 13 years old, and still happy and active on her last day, she occupies a place in our hearts that none can take the place of.
Many of you remember her from several starring roles on numerous Smartwork training DVDs, and as our perennial demonstration dogs at seminars for many years. She had all the skills, and was as fine a duck dog as anyone could dream of. Many a crippled duck & goose would have been lost and wasted game but for that wonderful little dog with the great big heart.
Like dogs of yesterday, Bitsy won’t be replaced. You can’t really do that. But we hope to be blessed with another one soon. We cherish all the great memories.
