I am looking at buying 3 Thunder 500 launchers or (3) 4 shooter bumper boys. I was wondering the pro's and con's for both devices. I already have dogtra release's for wingers. Is there a specific place were you can get them cheaper than off of the manufacturers website. Thanks for the help

The cost of the launchers are the same everywhere been surfing the internet the new thunders suppose to be better.The cost of dogtra receivers cheapest from Dogs Afield just order through computer for free shipping none when ordered by phone.

I've used other people's bumper boys and I like my thunder launcher better. It takes less time to set up and you don't have to keep putting in blanks. Just stick the bumpers on and go. I also think the bumper moves at a slower velocity making it easier to see for the dogs and the "bang is louder."

The cost listed is the same due to MAP pricing. Minimum Advertised Price. Most companies have that- Dogtra, TT, SportDog, Dokken, Thunder, GU, Zinger,ect have MAP pricing. That does not mean a company has to sell for the listed map price.
Also, Most companies ship free when orders are over a given amount. LCS, GunDog Suppy, Dogs Aflield, Team Take Em, HuntEm Up, ect.....

I've got 2 thunder 500 and love them. I had bumper boy and had issues with the product. Plan on getting another thunder 500 this summer.
