I have a beautiful yellow lab who is about 15 months old. Is she too old to start training to use as a gun dog? I would like to use a program like the Smart Works, but I am thinking that might be best if starting a new pup. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

I would say your not to late to start the training to be a gun dog. As long as the dog has the desire to fetch and likes to use his nose to find stuff. If you don't have those 2 things your in for a long haul. Be sure to introduce the gun fire from a distance. Don't fire the gun off right over his/her head and start with a small blank gun.
