In fact, it is helpful to remember that the grades that OFA uses are human conventions. They don't have a thing to do with the genetics of the dog. A dog can be phenotypically not dysplastic and genotypically dysplastic. At the same time, a dog can be dysplastic and still pick up birds all day.
