o.k heres my deal i am through with f.f and the such i know during f.f. you enforce the hold command done tthat but now doing retrieve he brings back bumpers and does not hold them tight and he will drop them at twice out of four retrieves is there somrthing i am doing wrong or do i need to go over the hold command with the collar i am lost please help!

Have you done walking fetch with an e-collar. The transition from ear to heeling stick to e-collar is critical to corrections in the field. I had to have this pointed out to me. I was making excuses that it was a bad hold ect. Collar corrections for dropping the chicken quickly corrected the problem. In my case I used very light stimulation (Tritronics or Dobbs) until she had the bumper back in her mouth. A few days of that and no more sloppy mouth. She still will test me on ocassion and a nick on 3 takes care of the problem.
