I'm doing force fetch on my lab.Started yesterday. How many times a day should I work him.I worked him 4 times today for 10 fetches.I take him with during the day so I can work him as often as I want.

You gave a part question. The question I have is whos training material are you using??/ I work with a pro trainer who FF a dog twice a day, and that depends on the dog. He does not do any other training till the dog is through the FF/hold. Do one step at a time. When the dog masters the skill move to the next training area. Start with refreshing the training that the dog has skilled.

Good luck and go slow
Enjoy the day

Once a day is plenty.. If you find you're having trouble getting through then go to multiple times a day.

I continue field work while a dog is in ff. Gotta give them something to look forward to.;) I only take marking out of the picture if the dog is acting up in the field and not retrieving. Or if they aren't getting through their ff in a timely manner.
