Your help would be most appreciated. There are various committees and the chairs of those committees always need help. The event chairman is Mike Kammerer (Montgomery TX). I can only recall a couple of the chair persons off hand. Arthur Hermes (Stewards; handling of birds, planting of blinds), Jim Cope and Steve Carr (Marshal's) . I am heading of the bird throwers committee and I am seeking assistance. The grounds committe can be interesting also. Most of the jobs give you a "great seat in the house" and are lots of fun . It's a volunteer operation so do not expect compensation. I do not recall the traffic committee chair or the hostess committee chairperson, but there names will "show up" quickly ,I'm sure. thanks for the offer;it's people like you that make the the National a well run event. The News will be looking for "roving reporter" type folks and you may have an interest there. At any rate the event would be pleased to have someone of your experience.
