K9Advantix and cats

Carol, I was told very specifically, DO NOT USE THE K9 ADVANTIX ON YOUR DOG IF A CAT IS IN CONTACT WITH IT!!!! I had a great little cat so I kept her far far away from the big dogs after application. Evidently it is super toxic to cats, even if they just rub up on each other. Even with all precautions, that cat went stone blind. Do not know for sure if it was the tick preventative or not. But I would never use it again in a house with cats.
