We are going to allow our club to hold training days on our property once a month. For the other property the club uses, the owner has a liability waiver form, I was planning on borrowing it, but the way it is worded, it really doesn't work for private property (his is an actual working ranch). Anyone have one that would work for a private land owner?

Also any thoughts on carrying extra insurance coverage?

I have one I did for my pro. I can email it to you. Includes personal property, injury to dogs and people. I always recommend an umbrella. They are cheap.

I can send you what we use. PM me.

You might check on a rider to cover the club.

The club has insurance - they can extend the insurance for club events, I would think club training days would be part of it, I'll have to call the insurance company.

The Club needs to have the insurance company add you as an "Additional Insured" to the current policy and best listing the address. A separate document will be issued to the property owner, you, for your records. This must be done every year and the club will incur a small fee for issue this Additional Insured document. You must received this copy and in the bottom right of a document your name and address will be typed in the section labeled Additional Insured. Without this and if a incident happens you will just have word of mouth. This is typical practice and the insurance company does this all the time.

I will PM you a waiver we use for a lease property for our club.

Susan can you email your waiver....I am having a training clinic here in May THANKS! dcoverly@epix.net

Copy Hank's waiver form.

I hold an annual training day here for the American Chesapeake Club. Their insurance issues a one-day additional insured policy that covers me and my farm; sounds like you could get your club's policy to do the same thing? Main reason you need one is for liability.
