I am gonna be moving my kennels this weekend and at present, they are just on the grass. Should I dig the grass out and use a good 2-3 inches of some kind of gravel, or just dig the grass out and lay down some patio blocks??? I know there is some washes you can use that are enviromentally friendly to both the dogs and the ground when it comes to freshening things up. I read some place that cement of any kind is not that great for the dogs feet, but I always see lots of dog runs at kennels with this in them. I am sure its much easier to clean up.
Neither of the dogs spend much time in the kennels, unless we are both at work. I have two 10 X 10 X 6' hi kennels and I am gonna put them together to either 30 X 10 or 20 X 20. There are also two well insulated dog houses to put in there as well,and then I gotta think about some sort of shade roof, cause right now they have the house shadow for shade and they won't get as much when they get moved.
