I got lucky with a good one. . . . my first field trial dog, Zeke, got on the Derby list last weekend with a 2nd at Cheyenne. This makes 11 pts and he doesn't age out until Sept. Now because of schedules and distance to trials he's not likely to run but 1 possibly 2 more derbies. I know Derbies aren't the end goal but its nice to get some success along the way. He's really showing out and doing some big dog work in training. I can't wait to handle him in some O/H quals and regular Q's in the fall. Travis Echelberry has a done a fantastic job with him.

Zeke ages out this weekend and finished with 18 Derby points, two 1sts, two 2nds, and one 3rd, plus a few jams. Excited for big things to come.
