Ok I hate to even ask as I don't want to get flamed here.
I am going to my first Junior Hunt Test in quite some time.
I don't want to blow it and I need a little refresher on the handlers rules. Can someone provide a link?
These are a few of the questions I can't remember
1. When do you have to stop talking to your dog other than to release and call back? I think it is right up until you signal for the bird but want to make sure.
2. Dog can have a collar but only a lead that goes around the collar and does not clip on correct?
3. When he returns from the retrieve can't I grab on to his collar before he releases the bird to me or does he have to release it before I touch his collar?
