I've had Parson Russell Terriers for 10 years now. They are great little dogs with big hearts for can be excellent family pets with the proper training. Remember they are Terriers and can live up to their name. My dogs have all the necessary health testing, which is just as important as it is in Labs. I had a JRT for years that was a great house dog but was a seek and destroy terror until she finally tried to kill the wrong snake. I replaced her with a Russell Terrier. Much less prey drive. Fun dog but doesnt want to kill everything the way my old one did

The JRTCA has a very unique registry system. Only full grown dogs that have been examined by a Vet that certifies the registry form can apply for registration. Also, a committee must review pictures of the dog along with all the documentation.
Oh wow! You think he will try a flat coat too?
