have you heard the expression, "I wouldn't feed that to a dog"------------Well I wouldn't especially my dog!

I have had a few clients that had their dogs on it and none of them did well. It does not meet any of the criteria recommended for feeding a working dog, and if you follow the instructions on the bag you will be paying twice as much for dog food because you will be feeding twice as much as a higher protien to fat ratio food. My Advice. Don't do it!!!

Does anyone have any experience with Pedigree Dog Food?
Most dog food manufacturers have their "cost competitive" brand, and a premium brand. What you find at the grocery store, including Pedigree brand, is a variety of different manufacturers' cost competitive stuff - the lower quality formulas. IMO, Pedigree is not quality. But, if you like the company for whatever reason, it also offers Royal Canin - Pedigree's premium label.

My two-cents-worth is: Cheap dog food is NOT a bargain. If you do some research, you'll find that there are only a few manufacturers that do their own dog nutrition reasearch. The others buy research information from the few that do their own. The leaders are Purina and Iams. My opinion is that the best nutrition available for my dogs is in the research leaders' premium labels. Pro-Plan (Purina premium), and Eukanuba (Iams premium). My experience with both is that I believe Eukanuba produces a better coat in adults, and is also the best puppy formula. But, both are top shelf quality.

No grocery store food!
