Hey guys and gals my uncle just called and he's having a hard time keeping my cousins bird dogs in the yard there are 2 of them my cousin was sent to Iraq again the only excercsie they get is when he lets them run around the yard but he can't keep them there what sytem is the best he'd like to be able to have his back yard and part of his field area for the dogs to run is there one that allows this much area.1-2 acres or more. Thanks for all your help my cousin worried about them they keep going and playing in the road. thanks for any suggestions. Jim

since premante dog proof fence is out. I suggest regular livestock electric fencing. Not only contains your cousins dogs but keeps other dogs and varmits out of the area. Still need supervision of the animals.

If you use the collared pet containment systems you can run a perimeter fence around the area above ground tied off to fence posts or whatever and then bury it only in the areas that you need to like driveways, sidewalks, etc.

Jim,

Punctuation is not illegal in this country! ;-) It would make your post easier to understand if you added some. :)

check this out. are the dogs somewhat obedience trained? If so how far is the road from the house? Look i dont use leashes unless the law tells me too ok. ive had three different breeds of dog. Jack Russel, Weimaraner, and GSP. and i have trained them to be out with out supervision but like someone earlier posted they sometimes need supervision.
