At some point in the toe hitch FF the handler shifts to using his hand for the toe pinch. Once you get to floor work you just have to grab one of the front feet and squeeze the toes. By the time you are doing floor work typically just reaching for the foot will get the dog moving before you even get a chance to grab the paw. Like with ear pinch there are some side effects from toe pinch. My dog will not let the vet take blood or give shots to front legs. She is fine with the back legs. In hind sight I could have spent more time touching front legs when not doing FF work and desensitizing.

How is ff transitioned off the table if your pulling on a toe. How do you go to walking fetch or to fetch / no fetch with a string tied to your dogs toe?

This is an honest question. I have a friend who said his dog was ff with the toe pull, string thingy and I got to thinking about that.
