I have a female chocolate lab and I was wondering on your e-collars what probes do you use. I have the standard length on there but I feel like I have to get the collar really tight to make good contact every time. Thanks for the help.

I use the reg length.
I don't know what brand of collar your using, but I think you can order longer ones from TT or Dogtra.

I have the longer ones and it's a sport dog

Make sure your collar is working properly! I had a sportdog 400 and I noticed that sometimes JD wouldn't recognize a correcting and then one time he vocalized and jumped up about a week after that. Turns out that one of the contacts was slightly cracked. In the meantime I lost total faith in the collar and went out and bought a TT flyaway and couldn't be happier with it. Not a sale pitch, just my experience.

I have a Pro-500 and use the long ones. I don't think they need to be nearly as long as they are, but the short ones are too short.

I wish they made a medium length.
