All the threads recently about command usage got me thinking about my method for releasing my dog from the line on a mark. I have been releasing my dog on "back" from the line on marks as well as pile and mini-T work. It seems like most everyone is using the dogs name as a release on marks and "back" on blinds. Is there an issue with using "back" on marks as well as on blinds to get the dog on a straight line back?

I use back or fetch. Think of it this way, your out hunting with your buddies with your dog named drake. A duck comes in and someone says drake. I wonder if the dog will take off. HMMMMMM!!!!! Kinda funny if ya think about it.
