I'm not sure that my description is entirely correct. But here is this mornings setup:
M1 80 yds, no of the mark
Run Blind 110 yds
Launch M2 angle back 150 yds
Launch M3 145 yds
Retrieve M3, M2 and M1

I am still using a known blind to teach the poison bird concept but I believe he has it now and will start with cold blinds next week.
I made a couple of mistakes. I was slow and should have handled at the tail of the blind when he took the left turn.
When I turned for the launch of M3 I inadvertently said "here" softly causing Rowdy to reposition slightly. Dumb.

One of the rare calm days in TX. But we are starting to get some cover now.
I could have used a video operator to get the full setup in.

Nevertheless I think Rowdy and I are starting to operate as a team. Whatever happen to my little slow dog?

Any constructive comments are always welcome

it ain't poison if you pick it up later. didnt view vid.
I don't "No" a dog off of a mark that is to be retrieved later.
Instead I just heel/here them to line up with blind, Dead Bird, Good, Back....
If bird is thrown right and blind is tight to gun or mark I learned to setup dog on right then flip them, re-heel to left side (opposite).
Don't always do that but it's in the quiver if needed.
