So I'm thinking with most of the hunt test around winding down and having never it before, I've got a couple FT within a couple hours from me. If I was to try to run a qualifying stake, what would I need to expect. Any tips or suggestions would be great. Just looking for something else to do with my pup. He is at the finished level in HRC now and I'm going to be running him in his first SH in a week and a half.

Ran my first Qual a few years ago. It was a massive triple that I thought people were pulling my leg on when I first walked up. We didn't make it out of the first with my AKC Master level dog. We reserve jammed our second Qual. I agree with Glen go run, have fun, and learn something. If you are like me, your not learning much standing around watching. Much more productive to put your hand over the dog's head and call his name.
