Quick rules question that I've been pondering. Answer in any venue you feel comfortable (AKC FT, HT, HRC, NAHRA etc.)
For blind retrieves, are you required to send the dog from your side?
Looking at it another way, can you sit the dog in front of you (facing you) and cast the dog on a back command. Assuming the dog is sitting on the line designated by the judges as the place to start the blind from.
Aside for the obvious question of why you'd do such a thing, Is it leagal?
If you were judging, and someone came to the line and did just that...what would you do?
