We brought are 7 week old pup home Thursday.i been trying to play fetch with her in the hallway but she has no desire to go after anything.i was just wondering if this is normal or not.she comes from some great genes and her dad just got his 3rd master national pass

Pup is probably missing mom and litter mates, and is in a whole new big world. Let her explore and get accustomed to her surrondings.

She is a baby, let her learn, explore and chase balls. She does not even know her name. Relax, the retrieving will come.

Give it some time and really get the pup ramped up by teasing with the bumper. Mine was similar at first and now she is crazy for it at 14 weeks.

A lot of pups are in a "sleepy fog" for days after they get to their new homes.

Infants don't retrieve

Just play with pup for the next couple weeks.
Every now and then see if he'll try and pick up one of those skinny little paint rollers.

So no, you shouldn't worry. Just enjoy the pup.
