Hey All -
I have been seeing and hearing a lot about stick fetch lately on here (or maybe I'm just noticing it and I have no idea what it is.
From what I gathered, from the internet and chats on here, its a part of FF where after its after the ear pinch and before the collar? I'm not using lardy because of the price and I have been using fowl dawgs 1-2. My main dog, and my first dog being trained for this is on our second run at Mini T. I have had to go back and introduce a straight line and wagon wheel (WW is not described in Fowl Dawgs but there are lots of things about it online, and its pretty simplistic). I'm under the impression that stick fetch is a way to introduce fetching with pressure (i.e. a heeling stick?) Does anyone have the actual method of stick fetch or possibly a link to a video?
When I started this whole dog training thing for hunting I was a broke college/grad student and now I'm just broke with my masters, thus not ever buying Lardy...
thanks!
AJ
