That is an excellent question and I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do this.

I will tell you my #1 concern: I want to avoid posts on RTF that say something like this:

"I sent my order for an RTF hat to Chris on XYZ date and it is still not here yet. How long is it taking you guys to get your hats? This stinks! Why did he ever offer these hats if he's not going to ship them?"

I'm still spending more time in the airport than I am in the grocery store checkout line. As such, my ability to ship stuff is a bit limited.

I have a small quantity of RTF hats that our partners at Avery did up for us. Luckily, some folks don't like the design, stating that it will put thumb prints inside the brim, or that it looks too much like a law enforcement hat. So that will trim demand down a bit.

I do not have, at this time, an order process to get RTF members their hats. I do know that after I counted the survey results, I did not have a hat for everyone who posted that they'd like one.

If this feels like a rambling answer that does not address your question, that's exactly what it is.

I'm going to have to work the hat distribution into my other activities and it will take some time. I can honestly see a situation where I may have to contact Brother David (Carrington - Avery Sporting Dog Manager) for yet another run.....
