I beleive in giving credit where credit is due. A few months ago I posted a somewhat desperate attempt to get help with a my Chocolate Lab Bailey who, I was informed by her trainer at the time, couldn't go through FF. One of the replies back was from Lester Langley who could tell by my handle that I lived in Louisiana and that he thought he could help. I visted with lester and the first thing that impressed me was how well he could explain what he does with his dog. For those who may not know Lester he is extremely knowledgable and has no problem taking the time to explain exactly what he is doing and why he's doing it. The other thing that impressed and definately gave me the confidence to leave Bailey with him was the waves of people that seem to show up to watch Lester train or just show up to help out. After spending a little time with Bailey lester let me know that he couldn't predict how she would do, but that he could not see a reason at that point that she could not be FF'd. So at the end of August I left her with Lester. My intention was to go visit her earlier, but work didn't allow so I was just able to see her yesterday. All I can say is going from a pup that I thought couldn't be FF'd to watching her go flawlessly through stick fetch and diving at the bumpers was quite impressive. Also something only a retreiver owner could appreciate. I know there is a tremendous amount of work left to do, but in my mind this is a huge step for her. So thanks RTF... And thanks again to Lester... I'll see ya next week!
